You may upload tasting notes, photos, ratings, and reviews (collectively, "User Content"). You retain all rights to your User Content.
License to Us
By posting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, store, and display your Content within the App.
Guidelines
You agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or promotes alcohol abuse.
4. Subscription & In-App Purchases
Subscriptions
The App may offer auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment will be charged to your [Apple App Store / Google Play Store] account at confirmation.
Cancellation
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's account settings.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any local, state, or federal laws regarding alcohol.

- Attempt to bypass any security features of the App or interfere with other users' enjoyment.
6. Termination

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
As-Is Basis
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Health Advisory
You are responsible for your own alcohol consumption. The creators of UncorkdIt.com are not responsible for any health or legal consequences resulting from your use of the App.
Liability Cap
In no event shall UncorkdIt.com be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App.

Third-Party Ad Networks & Content
1. Advertisement Delivery
The App may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob, Unity Ads, or similar platforms). These networks may use cookies, device identifiers, or tracking technologies to personalize ads based on your interests, location, and usage history within the App.
2. Independent Terms and Policies
Advertisements may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party ad networks or advertisers. Your interactions with these advertisers are solely between you and the third party, and are subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
3. Age-Appropriate Advertising
Given the alcohol-related nature of this App, we require our third-party ad networks to restrict advertisements to age-appropriate content (21+ or local legal drinking age). However, if you encounter an inappropriate or non-compliant advertisement, please report it immediately to uncorkdit@gmail.com.
4. Opt-Out Rights

Account Deletion and Data Retention
1. Deletion Process
You may request the permanent deletion of your account at any time through the App's account settings interface or by emailing our support team at uncorkdit@gmail.com. Once initiated, account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
2. Personal Data Erasure
Upon successful deletion of your account, we will permanently erase or anonymize your personal information from our active databases, including:
- Your name, email address, password, and profile details.
- Your precise geolocation data and device identifiers.
- Your payment histories (though transaction receipts may be held securely by our third-party payment processors).
3. Handling of User Content & Tasting Notes
Private Notes
All private tasting notes, ratings, custom wine lists, and personal wine photos linked to your unique user ID will be permanently deleted from our live servers within 30 days.
Public/Community Contributions
Any wine reviews, community forum posts, or shared tasting notes that you made public prior to account deletion will remain visible to other users. However, these will be completely anonymized. Your username and profile picture will be replaced with a generic label (e.g., "Anonymous Wine Lover").
4. Backup Retention & Legal Exceptions
Backup Copies
Residual copies of your deleted data may remain in our encrypted secure backup systems for up to 60 days before being completely overwritten.
Legal Obligations
We may retain specific transactional data or minimal information if required to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our legal agreements.
